BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions worth answering first

Doorway or wall-mount pull-up bar — which should I get?

The doorway bar needs no drilling and works in a standard frame, but is limited by your doorway's width and trim. The wall-mount bar is a more permanent install with adjustable depth, better suited if you have a dedicated spot for it.

Will the lifting straps actually stop metal from touching my skin?

The double D-ring design extends the strap and reinforces the padding specifically around the ring attachment point, which is the area most likely to rub during heavy pulls — that was a direct response to that exact complaint.

Is 500 lb capacity overkill for a home pull-up bar?

Not necessarily — that rating accounts for dynamic load during kipping or weighted pull-ups, not just your static body weight. It's a safety margin, not a sign you need to be near that weight to use it.

Does the wall-mount bar need to go into studs?

For a bar rated to support real bodyweight training, mounting into solid studs (not just drywall anchors) is standard practice — check the included hardware and your wall structure before installing.
